The final of the Inverell Men’s President’s Cup match-play was completed on Saturday with Leon Paton and Will Williamson fighting it out to determine the winner after the other 30 qualifiers were eliminated over a four-month period.

Congratulations go to Will Williamson who was 3 up after the first 9 and finished with a comfortable win – 4 up with 3 holes to go. Neither golfer was at his best on the day. Leon wasn’t going to win if he didn’t play well as he was giving Will a shot a hole on all but one hole.
